LIVING ROOM AFFECTED BY RAIN WATER IN LONG BEACH HOME

After a storm swept through Long Beach, rain water gathered inside this residence affecting the living room and hardwood floors. Our technician moisture mapped the area to locate all affected areas, and air movers and dehumidifiers were employed to dry the room. He advised that the hardwood floors needed replacing due to high levels of saturation. After the area was dry, the wet floorboards were replaced with new planks. In addition, some drywall and insulation experienced water damage during the rainstorm. These materials were replaced as well, and the room was fully sanitized to reduce airborne contaminants. The home owner was happy to see the living room reverted back to normal.
